My skincare routine has really simplified itself down in the last few months. This is what I do in the morning (as you can see by the above photo of me looking slightly worse for wear with mascara under my eye...).
I started using Philosophy's microdelivery exfoliating wash over Easter when my annoying combination skin face was having one of it's flare ups that happen every now and again. It buffered my skin beautifully, and I've used it every morning since. The cleanser, purity I started using with my clarisonic. I didn't get on well at all with the clarisonic but I did with the cleanser.
Both products are extremely light and you only need to use the slightest amount (in fact the picture above, which is the purity cleanser, is probably too much.)
A combination of using both of the products in my morning routine leaves my skin soft and ready for make-up (i'll let you in on a secret.. I don't moisturise everyday!) without any facial redness which is something I've always struggled with.

They are slightly pricy, the microdelivery exfoliating wash is £22 for 240ml in boots, and the purity cleanser £17.50 for 236ml. They last forever though, as you use the slighest amount at a time.

F.A.B Gentle Body Wash Review

If you have sensitive skin and you haven't heard of First Aid Beauty, it's time to crawl out from under that rock.

First Aid Beauty launched in 2009 with the concept of launching beauty products for sensitive skin that were effective but still luxurious. Since it's launch it has grown and grown and now has a range of products that caters for all types of skin concerns, including: aging; sensitive skin; dry skin; facial redness; and eczema and dermatitis.

I first tried F.A.B. when I received the body wash in the January Glossybox. At the time my skin was suffering from the winter weather and was in dire need for some love and attention. The product did just that, and fixed my problem areas so unbelievably fast.

Since then, the gentle body wash has been a permanent staple of my shower shelf. It is the only thing I have found that targets a horrible rash I've been getting on my upper arms for years. It is unscented and gorgeously creamy and indulgent.

Currently the body wash is £10.00 for 226g at Boots (though not available at all stores - make sure to check). One bottle has lasted me 3 and a half months so I think that is wonderful value for an amazing product.

Welcome

Hello!

Welcome to sensitivity and flair! I adore reading beauty blogs, but was personally getting fed up of seeing products used and recommended consistently that my sensitive skin just couldn't take. So I decided to start my own!
Never mind the fact I wanted a little place to spill my thoughts.
So that's here, sensitivity and flair. Enjoy.
